Terms of Service

Last updated: June 17, 2026

Neurowire is a project by Starside Labs, an open-source initiative (“Neurowire”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Neurowire, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions go to hello@starside.io.

1. What Neurowire does

Neurowire lets you assemble “meshes”, collections of public feed sources, that render to a hosted page on a Neurowire URL. The free tier requires no payment card. Paid tiers add capacity and faster refresh. We may change, add, or remove features at any time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Neurowire. Accounts are accessed by email magic link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Your feeds and content

You choose the sources you add. Neurowire is an automated aggregator: it fetches content from the third-party sources you select and republishes it on your page. You are solely responsible for the sources you add and the content they surface, including making sure you have the right to aggregate and display that content.

Neurowire acts as a neutral, automated conduit. We do not create, author, endorse, monitor, or control the content of any feed, and we are not responsible or liable for it. Feed content belongs to its respective owners and remains subject to their own terms and rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Neurowire to publish, aggregate, or distribute anything that:

  • is illegal, or infringes a copyright, trademark, privacy, or other right;
  • is malicious, deceptive, hateful, harassing, or harmful;
  • distributes malware or attempts to compromise the service or its users;
  • pulls content from behind a paywall or login you are not authorized to access;
  • abuses, overloads, or attempts to bypass the engine’s rate limits, budgets, or plan caps; or
  • we otherwise reasonably consider abusive, harmful, or likely to expose us to liability.

5. Takedown and suspension

We may remove, disable, or modify any mesh, source, published page, or account, and may suspend or terminate your access, at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice and with or without reason. This includes acting on suspected violations of these Terms, on legal or rights-holder requests, or to protect the service and its users.

If you believe content published through Neurowire infringes your rights, contact hello@starside.io with details and we will review and act at our discretion.

6. Plans, billing, and refunds

The free tier is the default and needs no card. Paid subscriptions (Pro, Studio) are processed by Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods. Prices may change, with notice for active subscribers.

No surprise bills: by design the service throttles or pauses when it reaches a cap, and never charges your card beyond the plan you selected.

7. Service “as is”

Neurowire is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that feeds will fetch successfully, that pages will be available, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neurowire and Starside Labs are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for content delivered through any feed. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you are a free user, a nominal amount.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Neurowire and Starside Labs from any claim or demand arising out of the sources or content you add, your published pages, or your use of the service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Starside Labs’ principal place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled there.
